I am an Englishman who came to America for a 2 week vacation to visit friends & i decided to stay a while. That was 16 years ago.
Originally trained as a structural engineer i now enjoy working outside in my small business designing & installing outdoor living spaces. This includes such things as patios, outside kitchens & fireplaces, waterfalls, ponds & landscaping.
I do not have any children & do not have the desire to have any.
Raised in England i have certain 'old fashioned' values that mean i treat a lady like 'a lady', with respect.
I am an uncomplicated person, sociable & humerous with a strong yet free & emotionally warm spirit who is quite happy with his life, i just wish for a loving lady to share it with to make it complete. Therefore, trust is very important within the relationship i seek.
I enjoy a number of outdoor activities such as hiking with my 2 dogs, gardening, horse riding, driving, boating & travel.
Animals of all kinds bring me great pleasure both interacting with them & learning about them on the National Geographic television channel.
I enjoy performing limited charity work for less fortunate children as Batman which stems from my hobby of collecting Batman memorabilia, my childhood hero.
Fashion is also an interest of mine, i like nice clothes & once owned a menswear store in England.
Music is also important to me, i love going to concerts, anything from Hard Rock to Lady Gaga is good.
Finally, i love food of all kinds, apart from Sushi!!
I am looking for a lady who can appreciate the simple things in life as well as the finer.
The fast paced world in which we live teaches us to strive for the biggest & the best of everything while missing the wonderful things going on around us all the time.
I guess what i am saying is i am looking to spend the rest of my life with someone who can enjoy a long weekend in a log cabin in the Smokey Mountains just as much as a week in the glamour of Las Vegas.
Does that make sense to you?
